Since the 1980s, 5-year cancer survival has increased from approximately 53% to 72% today. PREVENTIONWe develop programs that encourage and empower people to lead healthier lifestyles to reduce their cancer risk. We engage in grant schemes that assist community groups catering to children and young people to build shade structures. We also provide workplaces with the resources they need to encourage their staff to eat healthily to reduce their overall cancer risk. |

ADVOCACYWe work with the community and all levels of government to change laws and policies to reduce cancer risks and improve cancer care. We urge local politicians to take an active interest in our mission to help us shape the future of issues such as smoking laws. |
