Walk for Women’s Cancers

Your support gives hope to Queensland women affected by cancer.

Walk for Women’s Cancers was founded in 2004 by Cassandra Munson.

Together, we continue to unite in pink and walk 18km while raising funds to help end women’s cancers.  We walk 18km in honour of the 18 Queensland women who sadly die from a woman’s cancer every week.

In previous years Walk for Women’s Cancers events have been held across 5 regional locations in Queensland.

This year, participants walk a total of 18km (or set their own goal) in their local area during Women’s Health Week, between 5 and 11 September 2022.

Walk for Women’s Cancers encourages communities to create hope by raising funds for lifesaving research, prevention programs and patient support services for women affected by cancer.

Let’s unite, celebrate and remember loved ones affected by women’s cancer.

Are you ready to be Loud, Proud and Unite in Pink?!

Will you commit to walking 18kms in your local community over 7 days to raise funds for women’s cancers?  Unite with us in pink and give hope to Queensland women affected by cancer.
